i-Tech sponsors the Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade to help needy families during this holiday season

Orlando, FL – November 16, 2009- i-Tech, a total technology support provider, is sponsoring the Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade. Volunteers will be able to donate and deliver tailor-made gift baskets of food for a Thanksgiving Feast to needy families. Individual volunteers and families are needed to support this effort. i-Tech realizes that a small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of many people.

“We believe in giving back to our community. Now, with our new downtown office near city hall, we have gotten more involved in the Orlando community”, proclaims Dan Stockman, co-owner at i-Tech. “Our staff is very generous - that’s why we take advantage of this event”

“One of the great things about the Basket Brigade is that the people delivering the baskets sometimes get as much out of the experience as the recipients”, emphasizes i-Tech partner, Richard Vaughn. “This is a program that our employees and some of our clients have embraced in the last few years and we end up having a lot of fun doing it.”

At the Annual Basket Brigade, volunteers donate and deliver gift baskets of food to needy families so they, too, can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal on the holiday. The whole reason behind the Basket Brigade is to emphasize on how your community can transform the lives of so many people. The goal this year is to feed 1,000 families in Central Florida.
