Florida’s Judicial System is Making the Move on Connected Justice

September 24, 2013/0 Comments/in CISCO, IT Blog, News, Unified Communications, Video, Virtualization /by i-Tech Support

Image - Gavel - Public Sector Connected JusticeRecently, during a public sector round-table at the Cisco Live! Event in Orlando, FL, it was made very clear that there is a great need to reduce costs and improve efficiency of   judicial systems. This is particularly true with the interpretation services provided in the court systems throughout Florida where millions of dollars are spent every year.

Per Patrick Finn’s blog post, “Florida Shines with Connected Justice,” he shares the details of this educational and enlightening round-table, as well as how the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida has implemented Cisco’s Connected Justice solution to significantly reduce court costs and streamline the judicial process.

I also came across this great video success story from Collin County, Texas to share with you, as well. It’s definitely worth viewing and considering when budgets are tight but safety and efficiency or a necessity. See how Collin County was able to deploy Cisco’s Connected Justice to increase productivity and reduce costs.

What are your thoughts on Connected Justice? How do you see the future of the judicial system moving and advancing? Share your thoughts with us.
