Windows 10 Release
We are excited here at i-Tech about the latest release of Windows 10 but urge our clients NOT to upgrade at this time until we can fully test and verify complete functionality for your and our systems. Current users on Windows 8 may see messages pop up on your computers about a free upgrade – please ignore these messages for now as the free upgrade will be available for at least a year following the release.
i-Tech is currently in the process of assessing Windows 10 for compatibility and functionality for our clients, software and support systems.
It is important that you do not upgrade without consulting us first, as your applications and/or functionality may not work as expected.
We anticipate completing our testing over the next several months and expect to support Windows 10 following the initial service pack update later this year.
In summary, we recommend that clients do NOT move forward with upgrades to Windows 10 without first consulting with your dedicated i-Tech account manager and/or lead support engineer. These measures will help fully ensure the continued posterity and integrity of your network and applications.
